David Ramoo

David Ramoo, is the Chief Executive Officer of Kompakar eBIZ Sdn. Bhd. a subsidiary of the Kompakar Group of companies. He has an MBA from the University of South Australia.

He commenced his career with the Kompakar Group in 1987 as a Senior Programmer Analyst with then, Kompakar eSystems Sdn Bhd. Since then he has held various positions and overseeing prominent portfolios within the Kompakar Group. In 1992, he was promoted to Manager of the Application Services Business (ASB) unit which was subsequently renamed to Maintenance Solutions Business (MSB). In 1996, he took over the System Software Business (SSB) followed by the Library Application Business (LAB) in the following year. He went from strength to strength from there on. In 1998, he was promoted to Senior Manager of the Enterprise Business Solutions Unit (EBSU) of Kompakar eSystems. Following the restructuring of the Kompakar Group in Jun of 2004, he was promoted to his current position.

David began his career at Solsis Sdn Bhd as Programmer in 1984 prior to joining Kompakar eSystem. He has been involved in the IT industry for more than 20 years now and has a proven business as well as leadership track record. This is backed by his focused domain knowledge on software solutions and extensive knowledge on business insights and needs.
